As the first series in the artist’s journey of discovering and defining their creative identity, this work reflects a life shaped by three distinct cultural landscapes—born and raised in Seoul, Korea, and later living in California and London. These experiences of diverse cultures and visual languages inform the work, bringing together Korean heritage with a contemporary international perspective. The composition was first developed as a digital graphic, refined into a clear and vivid visual language, and later transformed into the final painting.
